I know I'll get thumbs down for it, but I'm an athiest. It must be a good thing, because I wasn't among the narrow-minded people giving Muslims the thumbs down (or anyone else, for that matter, though they copped the worst of it). I notice a lot of negativity and seperatism whenever organised religion is involved. Believe for the good of your soul, not to follow the teachings of some guy who tells you what to believe (usually involving the judgement of others) then holds his hand out for money.

I am a believer in the one and only true God, Creator of this universe and all that is within it. Everything and anything that is good comes from God, especially His one and only Son that He sent to die on the cross for me. Through His blood, the blood of Jesus that was shed thru His crucification, I am able to be forgiven for my sins.
The Holy Spirit, the mighty Counselor, made possible thru God, came to reside in my heart the very second I accepted Christ as my Savior. It is through the Holy Spirit that I'm able to read God's word and understasnd it. For it is written that the ones without the Spirit will not understand and will think all that is written is foolish.
There is no doubt whatsoever that Jesus is returning for His church and we will go and live in the place God has prepared for all who accepts His gift, His son, Jesus Christ.
By the way, even God hates religion and I'll be happy to be called a Bible Thumper, a holy roller, and I'll be happy to be called religious by a non-Christian, but if one of my fellow Christian brothers or sisters call me religious, I better hop into prayer with God and see where I've gotten off His spiritual path to righteousness.
I want only to worship God and though I strive to obey His laws, I do not worship His laws or make them come before spiritual love of everyone, homosexuals, adulterers, liars. etc. We are all sinners and I fall short everyday, but the blood of Christ picks me back up in the forgiveness through God's gift, His Son, Jesus.
P.S. Oh, I almost forgot, I'm Southern Baptist, but that is just the church I choose to worship in. I will go to any Bible based church and have friends scattered amongst numerous different denominations.

I think my religion is the correct one because it says that all paths lead to God.
It tells me that whatever brings you closer to God is a good thing.
It says that it is just one of many valid paths back to God.
It tells me to believe nothing just because I am told that it is true, even the things that it tells me. I says that I should use my logic and common sense to consider everything that I am told and keep only that which seems to make sense to me.
In truth it is not actually a religion at all. I follow the teachings of Jesus from a book called the course in miracles.
Love and blessings Don
