Umm the bible is corrupted. If you take a deeper study, it was James the brother of Yeshua/Jesus who was to take over Yeshua's/Jesus's movement. If you noticed all traces of James were removed from the bible except for his letter. Like he wasn't around, give me a break. The Gentiles got corrupted scriptures because they were too heathen to have the Hebrew Matthew Gospel and with that Paul, who the followers of Yeshua/Jesus in Jerusalem, THE FIRST followers for that manner, the ones that knew him, ebonites straightwardly rejected Paul. Paul was decent for the gentiles, although they could not understand his gnosticism, Yeshua's/Jesus's way was different.
Gary, man wtf are you talking about? What, do you realize that they put a genocide on all those sects that didn't believe in the emperors version of Christianity? Are you kidding me? They destroyed most of the scriptures that existed, go do research! But guess what? The dead sea scrolls and the Nag hammadi library was found and we have those know which was more than likely hidden by seekers who were going to be killed and their scriptures destroyed had they not hid them. O yeah buddy the Gospels writen within 50 years.. give me a break. Only the hebrew gospel was writen by someone that was there. Thomas gospel is the PUREST source of sayings we GOT with no corruption or interplorations! Yet you still doubt and deny. Maybe the laws of God brought these scriptures to service so that you all can know the truth and yet you reject!?

Some of the Gospel of Thomas does not mirror the ideas or beliefs of the Gospels that are included in the Bible. You can of course read the opinions of theologians as well as Bible scholars. If you read the reasoning behind the selection of the books included in the New Testament, you will find that the church hierarchy wanted to present a homogeneous concept of Jesus. Hence they selected the books that seemed to be reflective of one another.

yes, understand that the gospel is God inspired accounts of the life and death of JESUS CHRIST.as far as the other books go i feel that if you did research you would find that they still would in some way support the gospels of the bible today. PS, the book of Mark who was a follower of Jesus Christ is believed to have been wrote this book with the help of the apostle peter

The only true gospel was the lost Gospel of Jesus. What Christians have today are merely secondary gospels, which according to the "synoptic problem", were likely written based on one main gospel - the original Gospel of Jesus.
God knows best.

Read it again. It never says that Jesus Christ would build His Church on Peter.
Get into the Word and you'll discover that there is nothing but Good News, the Gospels.><>

Peace be upon you,
This is why GOD gave us the Quran to fix the errors. Just as the Gospels came after the Torah to fix the Torah. The Council of Nicea with Constatine decided what to put in the Bible. The Quran is promised by GOD never to get corrupted and confrims all the storeis of Lot, Solomon, Moses, Noah, etc. (peace be upon them all) It's the only Holy Book left of all the Holy Books given to us to still have the original to ensure all copies are the same.
Notice the Books are not Marks and Johns, etc...the Bible calls them the Gospel ACCORDING to John. It was a huge cut and paste job. No 2 Bibles are the same.

Gospel means "Good News" what do you think it means? You might try paying attention to what Jesus said (quotes) and putting the rest in perspective. Jesus didn't say a lot of things, also, that some Christians have come to think of as important.
This is an interesting site for anyone interested in Abominations.

we didn't pick the scriptures or the gospels. God did. and the book of Mark is to be believed actually from peter written by Mark. The other gospels you're talking about were written way after Jesus' time. that's like someone today writing about first hand accounts of the civil war and slap abraham lincolns name on it and call it "the civil war according to abraham lincoln". It doesn't work that way.

Where does Jesus say that?
Besides:
1&2 Peter are the 21st and 22nd books in the New Tetament.they are between James and John. Obviously James is the 20th book.
Is your question why don't you read them?
Uhm yeh and the DaVici Code is straight fiction. If you want to do a comparison against the Bible and come back and ask another quest feel free.

the 4 gospels were written in the apostolic age within 50 years of jesus death, all other "Gospels" were written by people who never met jesus hundreds of years later.
