I have these really bad headaches on my right side of my head. Only my right side. I get them a few times a week. They're horrible, I feel a lot of pressure. I used to take Tylenol but it doesn't work. I've used pretty much everything to get rid of headaches but nothing works. It eventually goes away after a few painful hours. [Sleeping doesn't make it better]

It's not sinus or w/e it's called.

What can I do about this? What can it be? Should I visit a doctor?

[ps] I'm only 17! My parents say it's because I don't eat well, but lately I have.

Help?!?

I used to get headaches b/c of my eyes but I didn't feel a lot of pressure like I do with these headaches.

I got new glasses a few months ago. That's not the problem.

Sounds like a migraine. And if that's the case, aspirin, Acetomenaphin (Tylenol), Advil or Ibuprofin won't help.

I used to have them. Started at age 18, finally got rid of them at age 21. I really think it was stress-related.

I'd definitely see a doctor. Best thing I ever did.

Migraines are horrible. If it's painful to even look at your computer screen, you have a migraine most likely. But you should see a doctor to rule other things out.

Good luck and Happy New Year.

See a doctor if you're worried.
There's heaps of different types of head aches. Some reasons could be dehydration, your neck or back is out of whack,
tumor (don't fret about that tho), stress, even the medication you're taking could be doing something.
When I was 17 I had headaches, they were real bad but we worked out they were a combination of stress and nerves in my neck being pinched a bit. All gooders now after I saw the doc!

Well I used to get headaches but
then my doctor told me to go see some kind of other doctor, u should go to your local doctor or a rite-aid.
You should also drink like 4 glasses of water every three hours. All I usually did when I got headaches was sleep, but since sleep dosent help you might b out of luck. Well it might just be tention in your LEFT shoulder, be-cuz your body is like opposite.

It may be migraines or it may be something as serious as Occipital Neuralgia. My mom has it, and every once in a while she'll get really bad migraines for days in a row. If the pain persists, go and find a doctor, so that they can prescribe you pain medications.

It could be allergies and/or stress. Take these steps for help. Take two headache relief tablets or a headache powder. Lie down with a cold compress on your eyes. Listen to whatever music relaxes you. Burn either soothing incense or scented candles. Sip hot herbal tea with honey added.

It's best you go and see a doctor. You might have some other health problem that triggers your headache. He's the one best to diagnose your headache.
