Hate to break it to you, but 98% of all businesses, whether their big or small will turn you into collections no matter what. Unless you have a payment arrangement with them. Do yourself a favor and pay it

There are lots of odd answers here. No they most likely will not sue for a 600 dollar bill. They will threaten but most likely will not. how old is this debt, if it is over 5- 6 years just leave it, your statue of limitations are up and it falls off in 7 years. Now if is less than 3 years, get 400 bucks, call them up and offer 250, they will counter get them at 300, if they go let say 400 ask them to delete it on your credit. Make sure all of this is in writing, don't give them a dime until it is. These guys will try to play a game! Whatever you do DO NOT give them like 5 bucks a month---it will turn in a game. If you are to deal with them you must pay it off at once, less of a headache.

good luck

well if you just pay 5 bucks a day they cannot sue u or turn you into a collection agency since you are making a effort. Would take a very long time to pay off your balance though. It wouldnt hurt to call them and arrange a payment plan. Tell them of any hardships you are going through, most of them will understand

These people are going to get you sued. I worked at an agency that sued people over $300 balances, sometimes less. They add attorney fees, court costs, and interests to the balance they are sueing you over if judgment is obtained. This is a small balance and you don't need a judgment on your credit report. See if they will accept a reduced rate settlement on this account.

Not high. Unless you are in a super aggressive state. Collection agency's don't typically sue it is usually the original creditors that do. 600 is not a lot of money and court cost would probably out weight it.

If you legitimately owe the debt, you should work out a settlement with them...and get it in writing before sending them a cent. However, I would be shocked if they sued you for $600. It's really not worth it to get $600, even though you'll have to pay their court costs. It's cheaper for them to wear you down by ceaseless gritching, moaning and screaming at you on the phone.

Chances are pratically 0%. They hardly bother with an amount that is less than a couple of thousand. They will talk tough like they are about to sue you. But it's a bluff to get you to cave in. Talking about suing and suing are two very different things.

Yes, but the question was the likelihood of being SUED, which isn't very likely. After all, lawyers cost money and for $600 I doubt it when there are people who owe thousands.

They may not sue you but they can give you one of the biggest headaches, you probably ever had such as ruining your credit for several years. My advice to you (if you owe it, pay it). You will come out better in the long run.
