well i have this best friend and we have been friends forever and just about 4 monthes ago i found out she liked me and i liked her the same. well nothing happened and she started to mess with other guys. and i kinda split and went my own ways and hung with a different group but then lately she asked me if i was still her best friend and i said yeah and we got into another liking each other conversation and i still like her and she likes me. But here is my problem when i hang with her she acts like she likes me when its one on one time but you add some more people and it changes and im like the third wheel. Does she really like me or is she playing around with my mind? what should i do?

Well! I'm in the same situation as you. Because me and my best friend likes each other but i don't know how to deal with that. We both know about each other.
If she really likes you how you say she does then I think that she's waiting for you to ask her out. Most best friends that like each other date. I think that she's waitting for you to ask her something. Even though she looks like she's messing with you, she may just be very nervous and doesn't know what to do. Ask her why she acts that way maybe you'll get the right answer.

I don't think that she is deliberately messing with your mind as you put it. I think that she has some low self-esteem issues, & needs to feel accepted by all who is around her. She has already got a firm statement of acceptance from you, so when others are around she focusses her efforts on those who she isn't so sure of.
Now that you have a better understanding of what she is doing, & why, I will leave it up to you to decide how to best handle the situation. Just make sure to put yourself 1st no matter what you do.

She is most certainly playing you.
If someone shows you affectiona dn repsect in private, but not around other people, you are being used.
Get rid of the *****.
People like that don't deserve to be loved or to experience anything like it.
Find someone else, someone better, someone that'll be true and good to you.
You deserve it.

You should ask her if she wants to take the relationship to the next level... instead of just friends if you are interested. Otherwise, just forget about it and date someone who is open with you.
