I dont think every kid is that cute and its so annoying when you hear someone say there kid is so cute and then you see the kid and they are not that cute at all, like set up for disapointmet.
YES i know this is vain and the only thing that should matter is the health, but still not a babies are very cute...agreed?

i agree. there are some ugly babies out there. it just makes me thankful that mine is actually beautiful. (no really she is)

When my baby girl was first born I was almost SHOCKED at how ugly she was. I thought, "oh, well maybe she will look better after a couple of hours, I mean she has just been through alot".
Well, no, she continued to look very bad, until a couple of months went by, and she gained alot of weight. Now she is cute as a button.

My ex-boyfriend's brother had a baby girl that his family said looked just like he and his brother did when they were babies. I had never seen a baby I didn't think was cute before that point in time, but she just wasn't! They had a second baby that must look like the mom, because she is cute. That was enough to scare me off! I'm married to someone else now and we are expecting our first baby in June. I've seen baby pictures of my husband and I think our baby will be cute if it looks like either one of us did as babies!

Sorry but I thought both of my boys were gorgeous at birth. They were both born by c-section and they were not wrinkled or red. They were a creamy pink and they had round faces with kind of chubby cheeks. I couldn't stop looking at them. They are now 6 & 3 and of course I still think they're gorgeous. I agree that I've seen many small babies that are ugly. I always refer to newborns as pod people because they look like little aliens. But mine didn't look that way.

All 3 of my girls are beautiful now (age 9, 9, & 7). The twins were gorgeous the day they were born. But the third one's nose was absolutely huge when she was born. It was very startling. So, no it (the nose) was not cute.
Thankfully she grew into it within about 6 months. She gre, and the nose didn't. They are all 3 absolutley stunning now.

Not all kids are cute, let's admit it. I actually started a group on Flickr called "Honestly...is your baby cute?". People can post pictures of their infants, and I tell them the truth. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not so good. I don't do it to be mean, but I just get so sick of people calling kids "cute" who don't have a cute bone in their body.

My baby was cute. No doubt about it. I think all parents think their baby is cute. One of my friends actually said the same thing though. Before she got pregnant, she noticed that everyone thought that their child was cute, but she thought they were not so cute. In fact, she thought some of them were quite ugly. But, she began to realize that no matter what, when it is your baby, it is the cutest baby in the world to you. You don't even realize that your baby is not cute.
Anyway, she got pregnant and eventually gave birth. When they first handed her child to her, she thought, "OH MY GOD! My baby is ugly! AND I KNOW IT!" She thought the fact that she knew her baby was ugly meant that her baby was REALLY ugly!
Anyway, you would never know it now--her little girl is beautiful.

My little girl is adorable... and has been since she was born. I never thought for one second that she wasn't cute.
... now as far as some other peoples babies.... yes... I have seen some not so cute babies.

Most parents think that their kids are the most beautiful baby in the world and for them that might very well be true. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I can tell you, every mother thinks their baby is the cutest in the world. That don't mean that realistically they are. It just means THEY think so. If mothers didn't adore their babies and think they were the cutest thing that ever happened, the human race would die out. We have to have something to keep us from drowning the little bastards after a bad day of bawling and diapers.

Most kids are butt-ugly when they're born. They come out all wrinkled, pink, and smashed looking. Not a pretty picture!
I also have to admit that, yes, there are some ugly children out there.
Of course, every parent thinks their child is beautiful, but some days when I see a parent going on and on about how cute their child is I just want to say "No they aren't!" :-)
