Define religious people.
If by religious, you mean christian, then I'd have to say it's much more likely that the christians are spewing hatred than the "non-religious" ones. There are thousands of religions in the world. Many of them don't spew hatred or think that theirs is the only path. The non-religious ones usually leave those people alone. It's when someone spews hatred and vitriolic tripe at them that they feel the need to defend themselves.

They don't all spew out hate - some are very courteous. If you strongly disbelieved something and felt that it was brainwashing and detrimental to society - wouldn't you want to do your part to stop it. I am not in agreement with this but can certainly understand why they would want to be here. I am a Christian and nothing I have read on here causes me to doubt but I have seen a lot of demeaning, slanderous remarks come from Christians also. We both have the right to be on R&S.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

Why is this question repeated every hour?

We have questions to ask too and some of us can be very helpful with answers. Also, a lot of us were once religious.

Why do religious folk hang around everywhere spewing out hatred or moral superiority toward anyone who believes anything other than what they believe?

Oh, really? Do you think nonreligoners spout more hate than religions and religious people do about other religions and religious people? Talk about intolerant! Wake up.
