are bodybuilders considered mesomorphs?

i just need to know for my health project. im doing it on the 3 body types: ectomorph, mesomorph, endomorph. and im making a collage and i need pictures of each. i didnt kno what to put for mesomorphs so i thought body builders might be considered mesomorphs. any ideas on what else might be mesmorphs?

Mesomorph is a body type.
Exercising will not make you become one. You can be any body type and be a body builder.

I don't see why not. It should be about the personality not just the physical right? (IF I'm assuming I know what you're talking about when you speak of mesomorphs, that is)

Wait a minute. Scratch that above, I'm sorry! I thought your question said something else! I thought it said "are bodybuilders attracted to mesomorphs" oh crap sorry!

Yes I do believe they are. Either that or exomorphs (I think)

In "The Handy Science Answer Book" there is a brief description on this body typing classification. I have two versions of this book, but in the earlier version, 1996 I believe, it gives a visual sihlouette of the three body types.

From what I've studied in health class... Yes, they are. Ectomorphs are usually thinner, with a higher metabolism. Endomorphs tend to be more... larger and hold a smaller metabolism, while Mesomorphs are right in the middle with a stable metabolism and meat on their bones.

Bodybuilders can be mesomorhps or endomorhps, but they certainly are not ectomorphs. They are just larger, but they still have qualities of less musclar people. It differs from bodybuilder to bodybuilder.
