I am 13 year old girl and I weigh about 120 pounds, I'm 5'2. I know its a lot, and I always feel very insecure. In about 11 days I'm going on a trip with my church, where we take a big bus to the Mountains and ski, sled, snowboard, etc.... Well this is my 3rd year going on this trip, and I feel terrible. 5 of my friends are coming with me, and they are REALY skinny compared to me. this year I FINALLY got new boarding outfits. Its all cute... but its not so cute with my hips with them.

I am one of the more experinced snow boarders, but i dont look like one the healiest ones. All my friends say I'm skinny, my BMI says im in the middle, but I can't really tell.

MY goal is 10 pounds... I know, it's impossible, but it's going to be hard on a mountain filled with 95 pound pretty girls, help?

I just need to lose a little weight for the time being, but I only have 11 days. Should I starve myself, eat all vegetables, run? I don't know, but I am REALLY lost, can some bosy help? Please?

i totally know wat u are feeling now my girl,so i won't be all "no u shouldn't lose that much it's unhealthy" cuz it is about pride and self respect!so i tell u this,u only eat fruit (say 6 apples or oranges)a day,i tried this and i have lost 8 pounds in 4 days,it's working,and i didn't get a stomache opr anything.u can do this.tell me how it goes.
my boyfriend is coming to see me and now i weigh a loooot,so i am lookin forward to losing 20 pounds in a month,maybe we can motivate each other^^

Don't be so insecure. Looks aren't everything and I don't think you are fat. My daughter is about your weight and height and I think she looks very healthy. BMI is not always accurate. According to mine I should lose 110 pounds to be the ideal weight. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 175, imagine how stupid and sickening I would look if I weighed 65 pounds. Go have fun with your friends. If you insist on changing something or try losing weight snack on fruits and vegs. instead of chips and candy. Drink water instead of soda

U are in perfect shape, the other girls need to gain weight if they are skinny than u.
Eat the normal foods u eat. Pasta will give u energy to ski up the mountains, eat more pizza before u do all tha.
Stop worrying and just exercise after u eat fattening foods.
If your friends are skinny than u are, when u grow up they will be alot fatter, it seems to work that way.

Well if you ask me 120 lbs is NOT a lot. And you shouldn't worry so much about what they think, if they are really your friends they won't care. But if you want to lose weight eat healthy (like EXTREMELY healthier) and exercise. Whatever you do though, don't starve yourself! You don't want to end up on Oprah because you became an anorexic superstar! lol

are you kidding me?? when i was 14 i was 5'2 120 lbs and i loooved how i looked!! it's a healthy weight for your height!!! you dont wanna be super skinny.. thats just gross!!if your gonna be on the mountain.. your gonna be wearing big clothes anyways!! but if you really feel you need to lose weight, do some running, and eat healthy.. do not starve yourself!!!!!!

in 11 days id say you can lose 3-4 nothing more is healthy...thats just what i think
Plus remember you still got time to grow you are only 13
