You can use 100 different browsers if you want to. None will disappear unless you uninstall them. The one you chose to be the "default" browser will open all your web pages, but they all work indepently. The top 5 are Firefox, Opera, Avant, Maxthon, and IE. Others available are AOL Explorer, MSN Explorer, Slim Browser, Easy Browser, Fast Browser, Netscape Browser, Flock Browser, and IE 7...just to name a few.

If you download Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer will not disappear. Both web browsers will remain in your computer. In my personal opinion, I think you should download the new Internet Explorer 7 at microsoft.com.

Ofcos no, there is noway to get rid of IE... actually, you can open both browser in the same time. Fire-fox is faster when you downloading picture, but will have some compatible issues on some database program...

internet explorer will still be there. If you set Firefox as your default browser, then any webpage you want to open, will use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.

No it will not. You will still have to option to use either one. Firefox will ask if you want it to be the default browser, and you can check yes or no.

No it will not disappear, I have both on my system and use them often at the same time without any trouble.
