Of course it's good! My doctor told me to drink 2 cups of coffee every morning before a workout. He said that the caffeine will help prolong fatique and reduce body fat. Some other benefits to drinking coffee are improvements to long term memory, stimulates the bowels, and natural diuretic. However, you should not drink coffee made from unfiltered coffee beans as they have compounds that could possibly raise your blood chlolrstrol as much as 20 points! Basically, stay away from coffee made in a French press. Many people claim the flavor is better but obviously not healthy for the body. Therefore, drink only filtered coffee!!

See my own question on this subject as it relates to my pacemaker. Possibly having high cholesterol, clogged arteries, hardening of the arteries, hence high blood pressure can result in a heart failure from over stimulation of the heart by caffeine. Food for thought. Possibly if you're young and in excellent physical condition, coffee/caffeine is just fine as it was when I was younger.

Half of everyone that I know would be unemployed if we did not drink coffee to help us get up in the morning. I would say it is very good.

I think, like many things, it is okay in moderation. I'm pregnant and I can't wait to give birth so I can indulge in a vanilla caramel latte!!
