Protestantism is very individualistic, very DIY, very "just Jesus n' me". Start your own church, interpret scripture for youself, pick and choose the teachings you want to believe; there's no need to bother with anyone else!

Maybe a better question would be, why are you asking so many questions about Protestants?
If you were asking in order to learn, then that would be one thing. But I get the feeling you're asking because you think we are wrong and you're trying to raise awareness of this by bringing certain differences between Catholics and Protestants to light.
I live for God. I read the Bible and do my best to live by it. God has blessed me and spoken to me. He protects me and provides for me. On the day that all changes, then I will stop to consider that something might be wrong in my beliefs. But for as long as He still blesses me, speaks to me, protects me and provides for me, I have no reason to think I'm living wrongly.
You and I may not believe the same things, but as long as we have Jesus that's what matters.

Protestants don't believe that death separates us from Jesus, At death we go directly to Him, as St. Paul says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We don't pray to Saints because we have a high priest in Christ who intercedes for us.Phil.4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It says Christ, not St. Theresa, or St Anthony.

In my oppinion, the reason why people think that death seperates them from God is because they are uneducated, as far as the Bible is concerned. I can see how the Saints are more alive in Heaven than we are here. They're where they belong, and where they've been trying to get people to go to their whole ministries. I would think they would be more at home in Heaven than they ever were here on Earth.

Are you assuming that anyone who isn't Catholic is Protestant? I am a Christian and attend a non-denominational church, and I believe that death separates you from Jesus only if you are a non-believer. For me, death will be going Home. Earth is a temporary assignment for Christians. Heaven is the eternal, ultimate Home.

It is not death that separates us from Jesus. It is unrepented sin that separates us from Jesus. Only faith in Him will save us.
