I seriously considering Greek Orthodoxy because I love the liturgy and traditions. I'm currently a Protestant. This is a tough move because I still love Reformation thought and traditions. I just may love the Church of Greece more. Any thoughts? Any personal experiences? Any advice?

Umm, you should kind of do both. Stay a protestant if you want to, but follow the orthodox traditions that you like..or the other way around
I'm greek orthodox, but I honestly hate any type of religious tradition that I have to undergo with my family! There are numerous greek tradition, and you can enjoy them without having to be an orthodox..Maybe you should plan a holiday to greece next summer or something, just to really figure out what greeks are like before commiting..
But if you love both Protestant and Orthodox ways, then do both..I don't see a problem in doing both..

Some of the early leaders of the Greek Orthodox church were very sound, very biblical in their doctrine, even compared to many mainline Protestants today. I wouldn't become a Greek Orthodox just because you enjoy the liturgy and traditions. Are they teaching the Bible? That's what's important.
There was an article recently on Greek Orthodoxy in Christianity Today (maybe Nov or Dec issue). Check it out.

Do you want to follow Jesus or traditions? What do you think Jesus wants you to do?
The Orthodox Church is not a Bible teaching Church. It holds its traditions as the authority very much like the Catholic Church.
Jesus said to some Pharisees, "You nullify the work of God by your tradition that you have handed down" (Mark 7:13).

Mmm. The Greek Church I don't know much about, but I'm quite familiar with Russian Orthodoxy...and I don't know how similar the two are, but I think the beliefs of the Russian Orthodox Church ring truer to the heart of real, old, deep Christianity than any other I've found.

Jesus was the "Perfect, unblemised lamb of God" just as the Passover said He would be.The Greek Orthodox say that Jesus was not perfect, that He wasn't crucified on Passover and He had one leg shorter than the other ,thereby making Him not perfect.
BALONEY! stick with the teachings of the Bible, not man.
