i was just watching this video about bullying and stuff and watching how these semi overweight ( not even really) girls getting picked on and called "fatass" and "cow" by a lot of their classmates...I'm absolutely shocked that people can think thats right to say things like that and treat people like that..Why are girls who are slightly over-weight always targeted? Not even guys who are obese are treated as bad. Why do girls always have to look perfect?

i totally agree with you i think its pretty sad that there parents would allow them to behave like that, although they learn there behavior from somewhere. It is sad that girls have to look "perfect" just to fit in but, thats the way society has made it...

The media isn't making the world a nice place for obese people. The media portrays skinny people,instead of healthy people. In general countries and society as a whole should be struggling to be healthy,not skinny.
Overweight people are targeted because in a stereotypical case,they have low self-esteem and you can say things to them,and they absorb it like sponges and most likely they are hurt,and won't say anything to defend themselves.
The world is cruel and wicked,it was at one point that being bigger was an in thing,and being skinny was seen as being to thin,and ugly. Every century,the view changes of the body,hopefully we can change the views and bring out a better look of things,instead of what the media portrays as perfect.

People are mean, thats all there is to it. Not all people granted, but a lot of them. It usually is some sorry attempt to make themselves look better. The said fact of our society is that most people care more about whats on the outside than whats on the inside. Truth be known, whats on the outside doesn't matter. To great dismay, most people are entirely too shallow to see things this way.

Girls are supposed to look perfect while men can look like disgusting pigs because we were made for them. Yes we must smell like a lilly while they can smell musty and look crusty. It's our role as the subordinate human. In 2007 we overweight women should lose weight so that we may impress our men because if they don't want us we have no reason to live.
Just kidding no matter what people say you have to and you have to teach your children to love oneself and respect others male or female.

you now what i was over weight in school i was spite on and everything but later a kind told me that the girls where jeloules of me because no matter what they did they could not tear me down.
i have heard over weight peoples own family say thees things to them. i think it's just easy to Target people who look different.
now i am a big gal who has a wonderful man who taught me to really love myself.
alot of our behavior is learned so if kids hear there own family say thing well tey repeat it
when i was pregnant with my son i gained even more weight so i was super sized my b/f brother told me tha i was so fat that i would brake their toliet if i sat on it well that was that i burst into tears and so on. i had my b/f sister call me fatty in front of everyone at her grandmother furnal so its a matter of rude people

Overweight is the last "politically correct" outlet for prejudice. Unfortunately, manners have all but disappeared. It is a shame that people are rude. Women need to stand up and reject the unreasonable projections placed on them, and they need to stand up for other women.

The first generation was introduced to recreational drugs ie dope, heroin, lsd and their character was changed. The next generation grew up with parents of poor character who loved violence, drugs and the final generation have taken things further. More rotten eggs in each subsequent basket.

this is because being a human being we still could not love the mind inside a girl.. some people makes love just to have sex.. they will be interested in how a girl looks like.. not what mind is inside her...
