My girlfriend timed her dumping me with the twelfth stroke of midnight 2007, which I thought was rather cruel. Now, the following day, she is asking me to get back with her- because the person whom she was hoping to get together with turned her down.
Should I get back with her? She does make very nice risotto.

u have got to be kidding.
u need 2 have more respect 4 urself.
playing 2nd fiddle to a guy who might change his
mind is not good enough.

this has so many alarm bells ringing.

if u are a complete sucker for punishment and/or risotto u might want to carry on but personally I would show her the door. period.

my ex once had an affair. I forgave her bcos she told me.
I had the chance to but didn't er on more than one occasion. I am a very forgiving person but if my partner had done that I would not bcos of the callous manner it was done.

If I was your dad or your brother I would say the same thing. Goodbye to her and find someone who deserves u.
and in any case it is the first stroke, not the tweflth that counts. This indicates it was pre-planned with no thought for ur feelings at all. Goodbye.

All the best to you and please find someone
with a bit more of a heart.

nah defo no don't do it! she is only going back you because her other bit on the side turned her down serves her right.
If you did go back with her then she is never going to be commited to you as she has already made it clear that she does not want you.
I think she has a cheek on her, for hurting you like that, expecially on newyear! the wost time ever!, that is nasty.
This girl is just wanting you back cos she has no one, don't let her use you again, let her be out in the cold and find someone that is going to treat and respect you for who you are. Good luck
