I love King Estate. They are one of my winery clients that my comany prints labels for. You should also try their Pinot Gris (white wine). Very tasty. The Eyrie Vineyards in McMinnville is also great.

Pinot Noir is the flag ship winery of Oregon. It has the perfect climate for it.

I've tried it and enjoyed it also. For the last few years, most pinots out of Oregon, as well as Washington, are very high quality. Its hard to go wrong with any of them. I also like the Carneros pinot's. Carneros is a little region tucked in-between napa and sonoma in California.
