I need a copy of a poem about a man who dies and was a veteran. It told about his life and as he goes to heaven God says to him Good Job, my good and faithful servant. Or I need something to read or say at the funeral of a friend who was never baptized, yet lived a good life with a beautiful family.

Speak from your heart about this person. He was a friend and must have been a close friend if you have been asked to eulogize him. So, remember some of the times that you spent, tell how he touched your life and made it better, tell how you saw him interact with his family and his friends. Talk about the things that from the heart you felt were good and should be shared. If it was something he said that made you smile then share that too. Good luck and God bless. I know it is hard to speak at a funeral.

A man raised his hand one day and took an oath. He swore to his God to defend his country. Every day he took orders from those above and served his people.

Above him, his God was watching.

His superiors saw his work. He became trusted and was rewarded with greater responsibilities, and finally discharged with a document honoring his honest and faithful service.

Above him, his God was watching.

This man continued to live his life, raising a family and training up his children in the way they should go.

Above him, his God was watching.

For those who wonder, this is the oath that (name) took so many years ago...
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Above him, his God was listening.

The thief next to Christ was never baptized, yet Christ himself said "This day shall thou be with me in paradise". Only God knows the heart of men.

I don't know what faith you are. I myself am not a Christian. I offer the above from my experience though, and as one who has served in the military. I hope it helps.
