my cousin had sex with some guy she didn't really know too well from online, she thought she knew him, they had talked on the phone and stuff, but he was manipulating her for reason that have became obvious. he is going around telling people on myspace about it and it's hurting her plus she's getting a bad reputation. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Tell your cousin to keep her head held high, learn from this mistake and move on. The guy sounds like a real creep. The best thing she can do is not acknowledge him at all!

some guys will do this to girls to see how many they can sleep with your cousin should not feel to bad about this, this guy has probably done this to lots of girls. now hopfully she has learned her lesson and will not as easily fall for the next creep.and who cares about myspace most of the people on there dont even know her but i hope they used some protection no telling what the boy might have if he sleeps around like that.

This is a learning experience for your cousin. Meeting a guy online and banging him was a very bad decision but what's been done can't be undone. But she can learn from this. Eventually what happened will become old news and people won't care as much about it. But she shouldn't forget lest she make the same mistake again.

Actually there is a lawsuit going on in Washington DC right now that could have serious implications on this. A guy was dating a woman for a few months and then discovered she was sleeping with about 5 other guys and telling the whole story in her blog. He sued for defamation, libel, etc and it is now in the superior court. He is going after $10 million. If you do a search on MSNBC you may find the story.

i got a bad reputation when i was in high school after a while when it lost its appeal i started working on my image and now after 5 years i am respected. so yes if she just doesn't let this crap bother her and realizes that some men are immature pigs and keeps her legs closed or finds a guy who doesn't talk about that kind of stuff to other then in time she Will get it cleaned up

Tell her to keep her legs closed, and she won't have to worry about her reputation in the future. Time and closed legs will fix this problem.
She should feel bad because she did a foolish thing. That pain should help her to avoid doing something so foolish in the future.

I don't think her rep can be saved because people whatever they want to belive. She just needs to accept this as a tough lesson and just learn from her mistake!
