of course! I had tons of those..! who hasnt??... I'd tell my parents anything, I'm going out with a girl friend, I'm going to someones house to do some homework...! :P

My parents weren't ever strict on having a boyfriend. I started dating when I was 14. But one of my best friends wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend... and she used me as an excuse to go out. Evetually her parents found out and she got into trouble. After she was grounded her parents asked her to bring the guy to the house to meet them. Once the parents approved of her guy, they were pretty much in the clear.
If your curious about this because of a situation you're in... keeping things from parents isn't completely bad. Lying to parents is a little worse... it's always a good idea to bring the subject up with parents. Bringing a "friend" over to the house should be okay with any parent. Once the parents get to know someone that you're interested in, they should become a bit more lenant to letting you go out of the house.

The guy i went out with lived by me and my parents thought we were friends because thats what i told them so the didnt suspect a thing

YES! All the time! They weren't "serious" boyfriends since I was only like 14, but one time I snuck out of my back sliding door with my roller blades and bladed to his house (we lived in the same neighborhood). All we did was talk for about 30 minutes then I skated back home to find my mom on our back room computer. Instead of waiting like I should have, I came in and said "oh wow, mom! there's a bunch of helicopters outside!". She knew better....I was totally busted and grounded for 2 weeks!

nope my parent's were okay with my boyfriend's. but my boyfriend at the time was not allowed to date. since we didn't have cell phones back then, he was the one calling me, when his parents were upstairs or when outside. Going out for him was hard, because he had to make up lies "going to see my guy friend" whenever we hung out. the hardest part was seeing him doing all of this and all i could do was stand there. i knew it was hard to for and i didn't want him to suffer from the consequences, so i broke up with him. he agreed because he felt bad lying to his parents.

Yes i have a bf but my parent don't know about. We talk on the phone and when ever i'm sleep at my bestfriend or cousin am with him.

yes but my parents did suspect and i was stupid to actually have done that i even went to the movies and convinced them to let me go his parents were suspicious too but we're good liers....thats not the point though....now that i look back at it i think "y did i even do that?" i didnt kiss him though because im only 12 but i just want to tell all the people that read this even though dating someone when ur not supposed too behind ur parents back is a very stupid choice so dont do it i mean i feel like a big dork for just even wanting to go out with him and i cant believe we even got away with it and i never wanna do it again because im mormon and i never told any1 not even my friends out of school only the people at school knew what was happening and they didnt know that we were keeping a secret from our parents and every1 so i just wanna tell u that u'll regret it someday and i am regreting it a lot i mean were still friends when we broke up but i personally DONT feel comfortable around him i mean i dont even wanna talk to him at some points.....but listen to your parents because they know a lot and they want u to do good and not mess up like i did but im not going to do it again so just listen and maybe something good will come to u and when ur older i hope ur kids will do the same thing so just follow along and please just listen.....dont mess up like me but im trying to get through it and i hope u do 2 someday and i know i will and so i just will listen to my parents because im still 12 and i still have a long life to go through and just believe please.....and since im mormon im going to listen to that and start really dating when im 16 and i believe that

yeah i had one........i meet him when i wuz 13 and he wuz 22 and my mom find out call the police and took me to the hospital to get checked but after waiting for hours there we went home she let me continue seeing him and now we are happily married with a one year old son
