Why dont you see what the dog suits rather than just giving him any old name...see what his character is like...if he overly friendly then call him buddy...if he farts alot call him stinky...if hes fur looks messy then call him fuzzball or FB for short...if his fur looks like hes wearing an eye patch call him Zorro....
Give him a name that suits him.

I think Louie is a good name for a dog, especially a Yorkie.

Max is my dogs name and I hate it cuz I it's the name he came w/ so he already knew it. It's so common!!! Whenever we go to the dog park or petstore I can't tell you how many dogs have the same name, so there's always 3 or 4 people calling out to their dogs "Max! Here boy". I usually call him Maxine just to be different and b/c it drives my boyfriend nuts!
Name your dog Louie and then you can tell people he's a king among dogs (unless you don't like French kings).

I feel that Louie is an appropriate name for a Yorkshire terrier. Tiger just doesn't seem right and Max is a very common name for male dogs. THis is just my opinion, but I hope it helps.

a yorkie is a small dog so i would not name him tiger or louie they are more for bigger dogs but max sounds good to me.
i love yorkies!!
