I'll bite. ;)
The Bible insists that we follow God's commands to the letter, or we will be tortured for all eternity. I think we can all agree that Saddam, as evil as he was, never tortured anyone for all eternity.
Consider, also, that people who live perfectly good lives and follow God's law, but fail to proclaim "Jesus is Lord" will go to hell, according to Paul.
As a parting note, consider that the God of the Old Testament ordered the murder of infants on multiple occassions.
Yes, I would consider that dictatorial. It's why I'm not a Christian.

Well bekkie, the Bible is revered because it is God's Word, It talks about the fallen condition of man and how God comes to rescue us when Jesus enters the world. How does "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", Or " pray for your enemies" Tell me how does that sound like a dictator? Saddam, cut off people heads for his own pleasure, and tortured children. Jesus says, " Better a millstone be tied to your neck then harm one of His little ones" You don't know the Bible.

Yes, it does.
However, very few (if-any) Dictators would attempt to make people believe that they would be 'Eternally-Tortured' if they don't think a certain way.
Dictators are 'usually' satisfied with life-long imprisonment (no-Habeus-Corpus etc) or physically killing their opponents.
It took a very sick mind/s to 'imagine-up' an eternal-torture scenario to terrorize small children and (some) Adults into thinking a certain way or (not-ONLY-Die) but be in eternal torment forever. IMO

Because the Bible is about a perfect God who knows everything and always does what is best, and dictators are mere human beings who think they are always right and so they think they ought to control everything.
Besides, God doesn't really try to control you. Sure, He gives you commandments, but it's you choice to obey or disobey. Their are consiquences for your actions, but even in a free country, that is the way life is no matter what. Besides, what's so bad about someone who says things like, "Love you neighbor as yourself?"

The Bible allows everyone a choice. Believe or not believe. Now GOD will demand an accounting of your answer.

God made us, and rightfully demand that we follow his commandments to the letter. God does what He does for the good of His people. We owe dictators nothing, and the only interest that they have for doinbg wehat they do is for selfish reasons.
