I've been on Y/A for a few months now, and I notice that I will automatically 'scan' posts by certain members - because I know they're going to be nasty or just plain vulgar.
I guess it's saying something that I know the ones to avoid - and they are few and far between. For every question, you might only get one or two answers that are not a genuine effort at an answer. Mind you, there are some questions that are hard to take seriously, and I know I've posted a sarky answer on more than one occasion!
Same with questions - there are a few who post and I wouldn't bother even looking at the questions - but there are only three or four like that.
Overall, the people on Y/A seem to be pretty good, and willing to share information.

Ive only been on yahoo answers for a few days so cant really say much about the users, however i have noticed a few that are not nice people judging by comments they say and questions they ask. Majority seem nice, friendly people and want to help share their knowledge with factual answers and links. These people are the sort that we all need as friends. Have a healthy, wealthy, prosperous new year.

i have been on yahoo answers for some time and you cant really tell if people are genuinely nice unless you are face to face with them. will say i have had contact from some great people so they are out there . happy new year.

i agree with RM and Michelle. there are some nice people on here and there are one or two tossas. but on the whole most of the people seem genuine and down to earth.
