I do not know why he has done it.
But I personally have never cheated. In the physical form. Sure, when a hot girl walks by my mind might go nuts. But I have this little thing called self control. It is where I am able to block those thoughts from becoming actions. From there I just simply keep my eyes trained at multiple objects at all time. Say if I am walking through the mall with my gf. But, there are a large number of guys, I would agree the majority, whom will cheat on their wives and or gfs. Why?
Maybe they are not getting enough of something. Or maybe it is just that they have no self control.

Guys don't cheat all the time, and girls are known to be cheaters themselves sometimes. But true, guys do get the rap for cheating the most. I think it has to do with biology.
Girls have just one egg a month, They want to make sure the one guy is the only one for them.
Guys have millions of sperm to share every day. It's in the species best interest if he spreads it around!
Most guys can ignore natures calling and remain faithful, but spice is the variety of life and for some, the call of the wild is too much.
There's probably a better scientific reason, but not a better moral one. Cheating is wrong, it happens, there are these crazy theories, but in the end it is still wrong and painful to those cheaters hurt. Cheaters are selfish people thinking of only themselves.

being young. I wouldn't say just guys...didnt you say he cheated w your bff? Maybe rethink what your looking for..if you go into a relationship based on sex...not to good, build a strong friendship w a guy first, get the respect . then go from there. and your bff isnt your bff. good luck

Why are you accusing over 3 billion guys of cheating, when your only experience is your boyfriend? Your question should have been "Why did my boyfriend cheat" and not "why do guys cheat all the time?"
And how can we know why your bf cheated when we don't know him or you? No mindreaders here dear.

not all men cheat u know there is still some nice guy out there like me i been with my girl friend for 2 years now and i havent cheated on her i never cheat on any girls i think i might go all the way with mine. dont say all men cheat

look lady guys don't cheat all of the time. their r still some good guys out there. i've never cheated on any girls. if u think guys cheat all of the time then u've just been looking in the wrong places

Sadly, both boys and girls cheat a lot nowadays... don't really know why.
When I was young and stupid, I cheated on my gf... I did it because I needed someone to talk to... weird, but I lived with my gf, but was lonely... so I hooked up with an old gf from high school... she listened and we ended up doing the hot tub sex thing... repeatedly.
All because I wanted someone to listen to me... I know it sounds stupid.
But I did learn - lived five years with my latest ex, and never cheated on her... don't ever plan on cheating again... just need to find a woman who doesn't cheat on me. My latest ex cheated on me with at least 2 guys... probably several more.

Sweetheart, have you seen a look lately at yourself? Cupcakes, maybe it is your attitudes or maybe you just are too simple and they take advantage of your lack of experience. Pumpkin, next time, find out what type of cat are you dating, his history might give you a clue if he is another cheater. Also pumpkin, try not to be to naive, to bitchy, and always put out for your man cause he will get somewhere else while you are not.

There can be a lot of reasons. Some of them simply an instinctual urge to reproduce - both men and women. Others have no strength of character. Sometimes the relationship is not what one partner is looking for.

The guy cheated probably because of selfishness.
