I would guess by the end of the month (January) you should start seeing results. However, I would consider adding about 5 a day to really juice up your stomach. Stomach exercises have become one of my favorite workout routines. I do about 500 a day (5 days a week only). After a month or even three weeks, your stomach will adjust to the 50 a day you're doing, which is why you need to keep adding more. If it makes it easier, break them up into sets of 20. Do three sets of 20 reps, then three sets of 25 reps, etc.
You're going to have an awesome stomach by Summer!!!!

do u mean sit ups, this is a hard area to change as it balloons anywhere if u do contain it, sit up have to be as much a stretch as it is a crunch and it needs a waist band like a back brace to contain the energy only trans mitts from either end and doesn't balloon In the middle this control will make the muscles work with help so they don't continue to stretch as a ballooning mechanism, pot belly still sit up go now where if left to not be banded, it doubles the amount of time it takes and doesn't help the sides above the hips reduce either if they are not wrapped, with like a back brace, when i get out of shape the back brace is put on and it stay on with duck tape and under my clothes it goes night & day til a take shower with it, or cut the duct tape and redo it after the shower, but after u achive your goal ur going to know your abs this way

Serious results are a combination of low totoal body fat percentage and rigerous core workouts. For you to see real results it will take a significat diet regiment as well as the crunches to get a nice 6 or 8 "pack" to form. Stick with it and you should see at least some within the month if your within normal weight.

Talk with a trainer and a doctor. You don't want to do something that will hurt you rather than help. When younger, I could just keep going. Today, I would see results after only a handful. That would be pain. Educate yourself and hang in there. Even if results are not obvious, the conditioning is good for you.

Sorry - I did 200 a night for 3 years and did not get a 6 pack - I was only 63kg and dieting to get to 60kg to fight in a lower class..... everyone is different. Mate of mine did nothing and had a good 6 pack. Keep going and you dont know - I would give it a good 2 months and remember to diet, as overweight people have great abs from carrying all the weight but u cant see it from the fat.

If u change ur eating style u will start getting them within a week.
Be sensible. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

I will depend upon how much fat you have in the area. However, you should be able to observe a measure result by the end of the month if you keep fat intake down, and do aerobic activities to burn fat. Also, make sure you are doing the crunches correctly high reps. don't make this exercise work form does.

Don't bother with 200....I do 100 a day, but i split them up into 25-crunch sections so that you really get a workout each time. I'd say about a week or 2.

Honestly, if you are doing 50 crunches a day, you are doing them WRONG. Trust me, I work at Golds Gym.
There are a number of ab excersises you need to get to the six pack. If you do them wrong you could grow a great big "bicep" right in the middle of your gut!

50 a day? First of all, up it to at least 200, then perhaps after 3 or 4 weeks...
