I do not agree! Marriage is for people who really know what love is. Marriage can work if you can give as much as you can take. You must remember the marriage vows, and live by them! Marriage is about compromise! You do not need that "contract" to make someone love you forever, but the ceremony is beautiful, and it is something special you will always cherish as a couple.

I have been married for 16 years, and I am only 33 years old. Marriage isn't always fun, but it is worth working through the hard times to enjoy the good times! Our love grows more and more everyday!

Marriage is latin for "half." It's state-sponsored terrorism on the person who has more. Just ask anyone who's gone through a divorce. It takes years, and thousands of dollars, to get away from a person you can't stand.

Marriage is for people who aren't good at being single. You can have a very fulfilling life without getting married.

It's a specious argument. 50% of marriages end in divorce anyway, so marriage isn't a way "to make someone love them contractually forever."

For some people. Not all though. I believe there are couples who love each other genuinely and work hard everyday to try create a happy living between the two of them.

But, there are some out there that fit your bill.

Peace.

Insecure people cannot commit to marriage. They lack what it takes. Marriage is for secure people who won't lose themselves despite the commitment to someone else. It's for women who are secure enough to give their bodies over to their children for 9 months and not fret too long over what is does to their bodies. It's for secure men who love their wives even after they don't "look" like they used to.

Marriage does not work for insecure people.

Marriege is a religous sacrement and not a government contract. So to get to the answer of this you have to look at the context of 2 people living a holy life together and not a legal contract from the government for you to have kids.

Nope! No matter how insecure you are; marriage will not make someone love you forever. Nothing but truly loving someone will make anyone stay with another, contract or not.

i dont agree b/c marriage is a bond b/w to people that love each other and want a life together. there are some that rush into marriage and it dosnet work out. it takes 2 people for a marriage for it to work.it has to be both of there decisions not just one for it to work.
