There is no good way to do that! You just have to straight out tell him that you know he likes you romantically and you only like him as a friend.
This WILL hurt his feelings.
He PROBABLY won't want to be your friend anymore!
But there is no other way to do it - if you don't tell him, you'll keep leading him on and his feelings will be even more hurt!

Just tell him. Say, "Look, I think you like me more then a friend and I am telling you that even though that is nice, I do not like you that way. I do not find you sexually attractive in the way to want to be in a relationship with you. You are a friend, and if you thought that we were going to get together by first being friends with me, that is not going to work. If you want to break this friendship up, then you weren't my friend in the first place. You are a good friend-and that is all."
I hope it all works out for you. And if he does dissolves this friendship, then you are better off.

Just be honest with him. Trust me, you don't want to stuck in a loveless relationship. On your side, of course. Don't keep his hopes high up. What if he tells all his friends that you like him but in the end realized that you don't? That would hurt his pride. He might think that you're playing him so tell him the truth as soon as possible.

I have been there but i just told my guy friend when it came up that i dont like as more then a friend if he asks you if you like him tell him no but really nicely
