Bless you, Bekki, and your family. I can only suggest you talk with the Social Worker connected to the hospital and ask for help for yourself and your children and family. Meanwhile, be sure you share LOTS of hugs and let everyone cry, especially with the kids but also your sister and other family. No doubt you are doing this anyway, but sometimes shock can make us forget and we need reminders. Prayer is very important too.

I'm praying for your family.
Your entire family need to seek help from a grief therapist, and or family therapy.
Even if your kids do not seem to show any ill effects they still need a neutral person to talk to, in the long run it will help to deal with the after effects of this event.

Wow I am so sorry to hear this.
I would def call a consular on the children. It might not affect them now but later on it might. That must of been a scary thing for them to see.

If your father is Brian dead I would go and talk to your mom or someone that will be making his disc ions . You might have to plan for a funeral.

But def call someone for the children and your sister!

You get yourself and your children into therapy ASAP. The hospital should be able to give you some basic counseling and help point you in the right direction to a trauma counselor.
I am so sorry what you are going though.

Wow. That is sad.
I guess all you can do is tell them some people are sick and can't get better.Sometimes they hurt themselves. That your sorry they had to witness his illness and that you love them. Sleep with them for a few days.
Good luck, I hope everything works out for your family.

Hugs from the right people can have healing powers for some ailments. BA- It has been awhile since I danced like nobody was watching.

a good psychologist or psychiatrist (do some reasearch on them because some just don't know what the hell they're doing)

and LOTS of family support, dont just expect them to be happy and cheery, try to understand how they feel, lots of empathy....and well, time

hope it helps
