You may want to look into counseling for them to make sure they get it out while they are young. That is something that can affect them a lifetime. Otherwise, just talk to them about it, let them know that you are there for them-that way they will understand what they saw and not keep it bottled up forever.

Sorry for the situation. First, get everyone, including yourself into some kind of counselling, grief counselling might be appropriate now or soon. Next help any way you can. Don't worry if it seems to apply to the situation at hand or not. Make dinners, spend some special time with the kids, even play games or watch TV with them. Just go out of your way to be there to unite everyone in this crisis.

You need to get some counselling for your children as soon as possible. Maybe for your sister as well. I understand you don't want your dad to die but what sort of a life would he have if he is brain dead?
Peace to you and your family

You must talk to them. Tell them that grandpa was very troubled and handled things the wrong way....but that you really love him still and always will. They need you right now to make this make some kind of sense to them. And also to know that it is not the way to handle problems. Lastly, let them know that you are with them and not going anywhere. They need you now more than ever. God Bless you all.

Was your father going through something in his life? First off, just sit your kids down and try to explain to them in a way that they would understand. Because if you say, something like "grandpa did this because he was sad... etc...." they would think that they are supposed to do that when they are sad. I don't know how you could explain this to them. I don't know if it'sbetter to lie or tell the truth.? But, I will be praying for you and your family. Have FAITH. The Lord, God will pull him through this. In Jesus name, Amen

you have to talk to the kids. Tell that that grandpa is sick. And they have to understand sometimes bad things will happen. Explain slowly and don't sugar coat it; after all they were right there. Tell them he is clinically depressed; and tell them what that all means. Give them lots of love and explain anything they want to know about any of this mess. I wish you all the best hon. This is a really tough one.

Take them immediatley to a child phsyciatrist. Explain to him the incident. Children remember more than adults. Especially the 6 year old. Talk to them, if you can do so, indirectly, not to make them remember. Good luck .

You are Not understanding the Bible. In Gen. it tells us that Jesus got to be the Christ because he was the only angel that had Never sinned! I have gone through my New Testament and counted over 550 places that state that Jesus is Not God! Like where Jesus said: Why do you call me "good"? I am Not good. Only God is good.". "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was WITH him." "...You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,...". "For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which i am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me." It is best to obey the Bible, not lazy people personal wants and desires.
