well payment works like a charm..if you are present when person comes to shut them off and you find way to pay....cash...credit..check...you can save a bundle by not having to pay a reconnect fee.....!!!!!!!! one way you might stall the process is if you can show medical need to have electricity not shut off....DME electric run ........

Well here's a question, that i can answer without wrecking my brain. I will not waste yours or my time by searching the web for an answer. I rely on personal experience. It was 2 years ago, me and my hubby just moved to the "lovely" state of Indiana. We moved into our first house of many. The price was right, but the Nipsco(gas&electric company) bill was climbing from 50.00 to a wopping 500.00!!! Needless to say our lights were cut in the dead of winter, and we were forced out of our home. (For non-payment!!) The salvation army, and all the assistance programs wouldn't help us because we didn't have ids in their state.

We are now happily living in a house in Indiana with no utilities!

God is GooD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had my lights turned off for non-payment, you need to pay your bill to get them turned back on.
