You'll clear 20 to 30 mg/dl/hour. If you're at the legal limit of 80 mg/dl, it'll be completely gone in 3 or 4 hours. If you're completely sloshed, passed out in the corner with a BAL of 450 mg/dl, you may be too drunk to drive twelve or more hours later.

Heres a good rule of thumb,
One hour per each of these servings:

1-1/2 oz 80 proof alcohol
1 oz 100 proof alcohol
5 oz. wine
12 oz beer

some drinks have more alcohol in them than others...........
especially if your a good tipper.

Depends on how much your drink really. It could be anywhere from 12 hours to 36 hours. When I got my DUI they wouldn't let me out for 24 hours til I tested clean.
