I am 54 years old. I remember lots of stuff. some of it I would like to forget. If you are worried about this at your age, maybe you should keep a diary. I don't do a day by day one. I do one on days that something special has happened. If your are having short term memory now, then maybe you need to see your doctor. I know lots of people older then me and they have very good memories. Don't worry, enjoy your life now.

I'm almost 60 and I can remember back that far as well.
And by the way --old is always older than you are! I don't feel old. I do full day of hard work every day.

You'll still be able to remember stuff from when you were young. What goes first is new stuff (short term memory.

I'm 52 and I haven't forgotten my childhood.

I don't feel old but the body certainly changes in appearance.
