Home alone and right in the mood for getting pissed. Which bottle should I open?
(and before you start the lecture, this only happens rarely, I'm not an alky!)

Go with the red wine unless the Italian spirits happens to be grappa because then it'll probabaly happen faster with the grappa. Stay away from anything that is sweet/sugary.

Well it depends how quick that you want to get there!! When you refer to Italian Spirits are you thinking.... Tuaca? Its great stuff straight and perfect to sipp over ice or do as shots. Nice mellow and fast buzz! I am drinking some nice red wine now myself. Open a bottle a 90 minutes ago and just taking my time but already have a nice buzz going. Either way will get you that point where you want to be, its just that one will get you there quicker!! Whats the russsshhhhh? Enjoy! =0)~

Save the wine for when you'll appreciate it and slug down the spirits to get sloshed. Have fun and a good hangover.

I would prefer the red wine but only if it is spanish wine (f.e. una Rioja). It always makes me a lot happier...
