The second mass I ever went to was a Tridentine Latin Mass, and I thought it was absolutely wonderful. Sure, i was a protestant, still am until Easter, and i really didn't know or understand what was going on. Having the missal in both languages helped my understanding a lot, it also helps in developing those latin language skills!
The mass itself is very traditional and very beautiful. The full essence of the Mass comes out through this form, it is beautiful graceful, and very spiritual.
Many people don't enjoy it because it is in latin, or say bad things about the latin mass because they don't understand that this is what has been done for 2 millinium, and if they could understand it then, then the only thing keeping people from understanding it now is laziness and ignorance.
Also, coming from a very Protestant background, and having been to both the Latin and English masses, i find that the Tridentine Mass far surpasses any service I have been to. The overwhelming history, tradition, and elegance of it all can take your breathe away.
I hope you enjoy your next Sunday! God bless!

confident, I surely have. I do think of it is extra suited and sacred. i'm a convert, so the Novus Ordo is all i've got ever properly-known. whilst i chanced on the Latin Mass to be very suited, it grew to become into distracting for me because of the fact i did no longer understand what to do, i could no longer hear the priest because of the fact that he faces the altar, and had difficulty determining the place we've been each and every of the time. This distracted me from with the flexibility to desire and meditate on the presence of God. i'm specific if I went usually, i could get to the area that I did understand what grew to become into occurring, and that i could extremely rejoice with it. top now they simply grant it quarterly at a parish, approximately an hour from me. So there's no longer a great number of probability to earnings it. in spite of the undeniable fact that, the Novus Ordo is a valid Mass, and that i think of that we would desire to concentration on the presence of Christ interior the Eucharist. whilst the exterior physique of ideas of the priest, and laity, would be useful it isn't any longer necessary to receiving God's grace.

Yep!
I was an ALTER BOY at same in Regina Saskatchewan many many years ago.
CONFUSING, but colorful so it will enthrall the masses so they will be entranced and get more involved in the CULT.
I escaped that CULT at age 14 or so...
