Whose DNA did Jesus have?

1 No DNA (not possible)
2 His father's DNA (he didn't have a human father, so not possible)
3 His mother's DNA (not possible. That would make Mary and Jesus clones and, since they are different sexes, that's not possible. Alas, if Jesus was female, but he wasn't)
4 A combination of his father's and mother's DNA (not possible, see #2)
5 Some unique kind of DNA (after all, it was a miracle birth and God can do anything he wants)
6 Good question. Maybe virgin births are impossible after all and the DNA question is the reason why.

oh well.... most of you copped out AGAIN. If you had played along, we could have asked "what did Jesus look like?" , "what would Jesus' children look like?", etc...

Don't you now DNA doesn't exist in the biblical fantasy land so this This is science man. The only thing they really believe is man made bible stories. Why should anyone believe anything unless it was made up thousands of years ago when some chicks best excuse for infidelity was God did it, I guess any smart person in a time when a women's cheating was punishable by a good ol stoning to death, would have done the same you gotta come up with some good **** to explain to your husband how you became pregnant without ever having sex.

Since Jesus' birth was a miracle I propose that if we had a sample of his DNA it would have been both unique and very human.

I suppose it would be a combination of his mother (Mary) and some general Jewish male DNA (otherwise he wouldn't even look like his mom).

Some people claim that the blood on the Shroud of Turin shows some human blood and even claim that it has a blood type of AB.

God created DNA. God doesn't have a problem with anything. Some of God's ways will never be understood by man. Open your mind to the awesomeness of God. He is not limited like we are.

1 No DNA (not possible) WHO SAID? All things are possible with God. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Jesus is God in flesh that became invisible whenever He wanted not to be seen. Is your DNA invisible?

The only difference needed between Mary's and Jesus' would be one X chromosome and one Y chromosome. Technically, the rest could be the same.

"5" is also a valid option.

The birth isn't so much the miracle, as the conception!

I do not believe Jesus existed, but hey, I like hypotheticals.

I would suggest that he would have had custom-made DNA that would not have matched any earthly person but, instead, was crafted by God to be perfect in every way.

So I guess that's #5.

Doesn't have to fit your science test - God is the Creator and if he can create the planets, the sun, oxygen, water and all we know - he can make Jesus fully man with DNA - just like Adam and Eve had DNA.
He created man, he created DNA, all under his hand and control.

You are already talking about a miracle when you talk about virgin birth. So why try to make sense of it with DNA and science? A miracle can't be explained that way. That's the idea.

You have grown into slavery
Held in a prison of darkness
Until you see your jail
Until you remove the
Shackles of your flesh
Your DNA will hold you.
Use your mind, come inside
And I will find you.
