What I do is let the pie cool completely, and then cover it with tinfoil. In fact I have 3 in the freezer right now. Tinfoil is better for freezing than plastic, or wax paper. The wax paper makes it taste weird afterwards.

yes it freezes well. Make sure it is cold before freezing then cover with plastic wrap or large zip lock bag and it will stay safe for some time.

Apple pie will freeze if uncooked. The crust will get soggy when it thaws. But baking it will solve that problem. Pumpkin pie will separate when thawed.

Yes. I know becuz I recently froze some apple crisp left over from Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure it would work, but I ate it a few weeks later--excelent !

yes wrap tightly with plastic wrap then foil will keep for 6 to 12 months

Yes. Just wrap it really well in wax paper first, then foil. It should freeze just fine.

Yes you can but make sure you vacuum seal it. Don't thaw or reheat in a microwave.

Yes you can, but only once. After thawing, it can't be re-frozen.
