People will love your accent over here, you should have no problem getting a job. Get on Monster.com and put in a search for jobs in your field. Oh make sure you have a visa, you will probably need to get a social security card too, just take you passport and visa to the local social security office!

Depends on your line of work. Go to Careerbuilder.com and search right now and post your resume to get the process started. Maybe you could have some interviews lined up by the time you arrive. You probably want to search close to where you plan to live because traffic in metro Atlanta SUCKS big time!!!

Well, you don't mention whether your a citizen or otherwise legal to work in the US. Also, you don't mention your professional area. Assuming you are legal, I'd suggest you start with some temporary placement agencies. It's a fantastic way to find that first job in a city. Typically, you get to try out an assignment and see if you and the job/company are a good fit before committing to something long term. Good luck and welcome!

Research companies in the area and check their website... in my experience, the best way to apply for jobs is to apply directly on the company's website when they have it.
