Yeah you can. people are just wondering if there was something going on wile she was your teacher. BECAUSE of recent things that have happened and made the news. Your and adult and so is she. Just take your time with it. Stay on the right track with school and do your thing. as long as you keep it together no one can say anything negative about her.
You waited and so did she.
I say good luck to you both.

its not illegal, but there is something morally off about this. I'm a teacher at college and I deal with students close to my age, but the student teacher relationship is based on a certain sense of trust. The student submits to the teacher, but the teacher must not take that any further. I'm torn between true love and a rule of not looking at your students as possible love interests. I've been fond of some of my students, but it ends there. I can see how a teacher may notice that a student is cute, but to actually become involved with one is wrong or so many levels. Teachers are charged with shaping young minds to become adults. As a student, you have done nothing wrong, but to date a former high school student right out of high school is wrong.
At 19 you have a different set of priorities than she does. Its inappropriate for a teacher to do that. I cannot articulate it, but in a few years you'll begin to see the moral code that she violated. If you met her in college and she was a grad assistant, then it wouldn't be so much an issue, but high school is just wrong. even with you being in college now, this started back while you were in high school.
Here's a test, did you tell your parents?! Does she take you as her date to school functions?! If not then there is your answer. It's wrong. she could lose her job over something like this. Will you trust her with her next year of students?!? There is a test of your love too.

Sure, the question is why not? What's wrong with dating your EX-teacher? It's not like it's against the law or anything. My friend's aunt was dating her professor in uni and now they're married! Even there's a big age difference between the two of you but happiness can be found anywhere regardless of gender or age.

A long as you are both of legal age and have no links through school anymore it's all good (technically).
She might be slightly warped though!?! How long since she was your teacher and how much older than you is she.
Think about whether she could lose her job and everything if people found out - did you ever hook up while u were at school - that is really wrong if you did!

Go for it man. You are living the dream.
The fact that I went to an all male school and there were only three female teachers is the only reason I don't fantasize about this situation more.
:)
But seriously, if it's good for the two of you, it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.

It's a bit different but as long as she isn't your teacher anymore there is absoutly nothing wrong with it. Besides if you two really love eachother who cares what others think! As long as both of you are happy don't listen to all of the negative things around you. Good luck to you both!!

A few high profile cases of women who groomed 11 year old boys to be their child husbands has given such unions an unsavory reputation lately, and rightly so. HOWEVER, THAT HAVING BEEN SAID, if she hasn't been "dating" you since you were a minor, I think it's fine. One has to wonder what was going on in her mind when you were a child in her charge.... but if you're an adult, tell the world to buzz off.

You are both adults and if you two are happy together then who cares what other people think. If you aren't ashamed of it and if you don't think it's a sin then you are fine. Forget other people and do what you think and feel is right.

If you can't stand the heat, try sneaking around in a fake mustache. But that would just prove that you don't see things working out for you two.
