You can request a waiver & it could be granted. It is not likely according to the Defense Department that a felon will be accepted. I do not neccesarily agree that forgery makes you a risk but they did not ask me. Try the request for the waiver & remember even an expungement does not change the law that it is a felony to not disclose arrests & convictions. Good luck!

Most likely NO, but you could join the French Foreign Legion. They are always looking, if you can survive the training then maybe you could get a judge to expunge it afterwards. You may need to show a little dedication and show that you want to serve. But with a felony, I highly doubt it. A felony is a felony.

Likely not. The Navy doesn't generally take people with a felony record. Also, you would have a hard time getting a clearance for any rating that needed one, which is becoming increasingly vital.

till your turn 18 you're literally not an human being and may want to lower back out on them at any time. So ignore being 17 and contained in the army. 16 isn't penitentiary bait yet you're literally unlikely to ascertain a lot of her. you'll undemanding, then improve education, then your first duty project. She contained in the intervening time might want to not savour having to stay at abode and in no way bypass out on dates if you're lengthy previous. So she is in all likelihood going to locate a sparkling boyfriend that sticks round. so that you're literally unlikely to have a topic except having to locate a sparkling female pal.

The only one that can answer this is a Navy Recruiter. I suspect this can be a "waiver-able offense" that you will have to get references for to over come. It will take a few months for you to join instead of instant enlistment. You will also have to stay completely out of trouble the whole time.

Good luck on getting your life straightened out.

how old were you when you got this conviction? they have lowered some of the restrictions of the past so it may be best if you go to a recruitment center to find out and just be honest.
good luck.
