I ate sunflower spread that expired in November. Am I gonna be ok? will I live? will it give me a disease?
what will happen....
PS>There's still loads left but I don't intend to throw it away until it looks or smells bad...I think it's the supermarkets tricks to get us to buy new things with all this expiry dates. What did people do in the old ages when there was no expiry dates?

Food poisoning would not effect unless product is been exposed in open air to Bactria and viruses, 40% people in 3rd world country eats expired food or not eat food at all. So don't worry its not life threatening. It may scratch your throat for few days but thats about it.

I don't eat anything past the expiration date, so I would throw it out just to be on the safe side.

You'll be fine. It won't make you sick. However, the oil can turn rancid and you won't want to eat it after that. You'll know because it will smell bad.

The oil in it can go rancid. So it could irritate your stomach. Throw it out.
