I know dark chocolate has a lot of antioxidants, but what exactly do they do?
How important are they?
Should I eat dark chocolate to get the antioxidants, or will I already get enough in other foods I eat?
Thanks.

Antioxidants are said to help prevent cancer. They are a very good thing to have in your system. A lot of your vegetables have antioxidants in them as well.

But hey, if they are going to tell me that chocolate is good for me, then that's where I'll be getting my nutrition from.

While veggies should be your main source of antioxidants, it won't hurt to have dark chocolate for dessert.

It couldn't hurt to eat a piece of chocolate ( or 2, or 3). Want me to send you some?
