that they wouldn't get otherwise. I'm just a normal joe but i accept my life . However those people CLAIM they just go to fight( which would be dumb ) but they want to win.. that's it.. cause they want to be famous and also want money.

Am I in the joke section of YAHOO answers?? Is this a serious question?? Most of the MMA fighters have been involved in martial arts from the time they were kids. The only possible place for the ones that take fighting seriously enough to train full-time is to the UFC or PRIDE. Another way to put your question...Is being a lawyer really just a way for people to get in the newspapers and make lots of money?? I mean I know they went to school for like 9 years, but it just seems to me that they aren't accepting their life. Come one man. Anyone who takes what they love seriously is going to try and make a living doing it.

yeah u have 2 b an average joe 2 ask that me i live off competishion between me and other fighters without martial arts there would b nothing else 2 do no other sports that actually r appealing come on now u gotta know about martial arts before u try 2 put down martial artists.

Hey bro....those guys have found something that they're good at, they love, and can make a good living doing. What's wrong with that? If you don't like athletic competition (in the form of mixed martial arts), that's your prerogetive, but don't hate the alpha males for being different than you.

I enjoy the sport, and like training and fighting. Whats the diffrence between me and someone that enjoys playing basketball or football? Not one thing. If you truly accepted your life for the way it is I doubt you'd be on here asking such a stupid question.
