I asked this question in another section but didn't get enough responses to help me out. I think I could be pregnant. I am 2 weeks late for my period. I am on birth control though. I've been having some symptoms such as dizziness and tiredness. I plan to taking a hpt tommorrow. I would like to know what you think the chances of me being pregnant are and also what some of the other signs are. All answers would be greatly appreciated.

Wilder things have happened. To tell you the truth, I got pregnant on the pill. If you take antibiotics while on birth control it affects the "strength" of it. So, I guess the chances are there. Good luck, I hope you get whatever outcome you are hoping for.

First off, get an E.P.T. test. It's usually pretty accurate. Next, it is possible that you could be pregnant, even on the pill. It is not 100% effective; that's common knowledge. I hate to tell you but sometimes it's possible to have no symptoms early on in pregnancy. Can't explain it but you just feel different sometimes. I knew I was just "feeling different" so I took the test, just like you, after 2 weeks of a missed period and found that I was pregnent. I didn't have morning sickness till the last 5 months of my pregnancy, though. Good luck.

Take a pregnancy test you might be pregnant. I have an Aunt that told me that she still got pregnant even thugh she was on birth contol pills. I would stop taking them for a while until you see a doctor just to make sure. So use condoms just in case you don't want to get pregnant.

if you think you might be pregnant stop taking the birth control pills...they're not harmfull for short periods of time but if you think you are you shouldn't take them until you know you're not.

why don't you buy a pregnancy test? it's cheap and more useful than signs, because they are not the same for all women :D
