I was seeing a guy who loved his beer. i broke up with him last time because of his drinking we got back together and he promised me no more beer. he also said the next day that i wasn't going to turn him into no "pussy" just because he gave up beer.on christmas eve he brought in 2 cases and started drinking with friends. on christmas morning i left. today i watched as he sat all my stuff from his house in my driveway. that hurt. He has been a fall down drunk since he was 18, so i didn't think he would really give it up for me. i figured it was going to be a timebomb.. so what do you think he thinks of me now?

few beers dont hurt but if he wants 8 beers a day and everday then their is a problem.
read carefully what i am about to say, its very imp.:-
dont cut his alcohol or ask him, find out why he drinks and work on that, honestly if you sorted that out, he will be ur puppy for the rest of your life

And be glad you are young and found out now! I tried the same situation with someone I had known for 30 yrs and he chose the beer! I walked on my own! It's not worth it - no matter how much you love him because in the end he will only break your heart over and over and over again, because guaranteed he will lie over and over and over again to support his habit any way he can. Unless he goes to treatment and goes voluntarily as in it's his choice - it won't change and neither will he!
You sound like a nice person who even gave some they love another chance to pull their head out of their backside and they didn't.
