Love is an experience. You don't need love to live, but need to love yourself before you can love another. If you don't have someone to love, life will feel unloved and lonely. :) Did that sound corny or what?! lol

Love is a really important part of life, but there are so many kinds of love that you don't need them all.
Romantic love between two people is really great. I can't imagine living without my husband.
But my mom has been alone for several years, and she is very fulfilled helping to raise her grandchildren and I really believe she does not need a romantic relationship.
The lady I work for is dedicated to her work to the extent that she does not have the time to date. She loves not only her work, but all of the young Naval officers and petty officers she dedicates her life to. Again, it's not romantic but it is fulfilling.
I do think you need something that qualifies as love, though. I do not know anyone who is happy without having something to dedicate his/her life to.

You don't need it to live.
It does make life more enjoyable.

learn to live without love and when you get a warm feeling will thats about as good as it ets and if some tells you different then marry them
