if so, what do you think happens in the seconds from switching a light switch off? in your own theory and imagination. I think of it like as though electricity goes back to the pilons in a field near by and shoots right up it and sparks up to the top and gives back some energy left of which u did not use as u switched off the lights and so someone else can use it for something else and so it travels there. what do you think. be as imaginative as u can be. lol :D i look forward to hearing your theories.

Hmm... I was taught that it was like a hosepipe filled with marbles... if you turn off the switch, the finger at the other end just stops pushing.

I was more attracted to the 'wild imagination' part of the question though... step inside! If you want to check out my poetry, then you will find it in the Y360 blog, accessed via my YA profile... my mind goes back to the one I wrote about the dying rat that curses its poisoner... see if you can find it... that had stuff in about electrical screens failing too...

So, what happens when you turn off the switch? well, the light was never actually on in the first place, you were just imagining it was on. When you turn the switch off, you stop imagining there is light, and it gets dark. It's not science, it's just the power of your mind. If you thought the switch for the kettle was the light switch, really believed it, when you turned the kettle on, it wouldn't boil, but the light would go on. This isn't imagination, this is what really happens- belief controls and effects the world- well, only one person's belief actually... mine! Wuah ha ha haaaaah!

you're so wrong - it gets all confused and tries to get into the bulb, after several seconds of bewilderment it starts to become depressed and sits there thinking that nothing will ever happen in it's sad little life again. if the light is switched on within two hours it will become suddenly jubilant as it rushes towards the bulb, its ecstasy is short lived however as its energy is used in a final momentary climax as it gives out its energy to create glorious light.

if the light isn't switched on within two hours its depressions deepens for approximately three hours until it reaches the depths of depression at which point it becomes apathetic. the apathy can continue for days.

at some point (if left long enough) the little bits of electricity will start to become aware of the other little bits of electricity. they will start to get to know each other with small talk and this often leads to a party in the wire. there have been cases where lights have been left off for years and the bits of electricity have formed communes and even complex political structures. in these cases the act of switching the light on causes mass devastation - all of which is fortunately brief as they do have a job to do after all.

the answer to your question is no - i just know what goes on in the world of electricity x

that's a great question
i used to wonder where the actual light from a bulb went myself
after all is a room not lit up the light bouncing off the walls if so why when the power is cut does the light not continue bouncing off the walls
as for where the power goes from the switch i think it just sits behind the switch in the wire
touch the bare wire and i think you might find I'm right but you might get frazzled at the same time

well, when u flick the switch, all the electri particles bump together and hit around everything, since there is no light for them to see. after a while, when they´re tired and in pain, just wonder around the wire looking for something to do until a male particle meets a girl particle, they start to talk and well...things happen, they get drunk, go to a lonely place in the wire, and have the time of their life... after that, they begain to dance and make music until every particle in the wire joins the party and start dancing the darkness away...at the end...when u flick the switch back on, there will be no light, since they´re all tired and simply wont move... jaja thats my imagination...really bad though

Because the world is so huge, billions of things happen during the time it takes to switch off that light...death, birth,...killing, marrying, eating, getting hit by a car,...running away from something, taking drugs,...helping someone, buying something, and animal barking,...things so numerous that are just everyday occurances...I think nothing of it, to be honest...When you turn on the switch,...or off,...you are controlling a situation...I see a quick spark that triggers the dominoe effect...so that is what I see,...the dominoes of life lol

Sorry but it's simply the incandescence of the light bulb fading as the current simply ceases ....... but you could perhaps say that the light fairies come and nick the light to energise their sexually charged cavortings at the bottom of the garden. So no lights off, no fix and frustrated fairies! So get to bed girl, they are waiting under the bed!

One of the greatest things that you can do - and that you all will do in this lifetime if you are not already doing it - is allowing your Higher Self and Soul to come through you and express itself!

Some of you may wish to know how to channel.

I wish to say now that Channeling is not necessarily what you think it is. There have been and will continue to be many millions of people around this planet who have channeled and never know it; they take it for granted.

They do not know where their creative ideas originate, where their love originates, where their magic and wonder originates. They do not know where their physical bodies come from. This is all channeled energy! If you exist here, on this Earth, as a physical being, it shows that you have the capacity and the skill to translate spiritual energy into physical matter. You may not be aware of what you have done or how to recapture it yet.

Mediumship

Those in 'Spirit Channeling' use mediumship for the following purposes:
To present information, which may or may not be verifiable.
To cause certain types of paranormal activities to occur.
To channel forth certain types of energies.
To manifest themselves materially.
Therefore, mediumship involves the cooperation between at least two individuals:
An Earth-plane channel or medium.
A spirit communicator or operator.

Thus, you will see that two distinct types of phenomena can occur through mediums:
Communication

Manipulation of energies and energy systems.

A spirit, who uses a medium for the purpose of communication, either verbally or visually, is known as a spirit communicator. A spirit who uses a medium for the intent of working with and/or manipulating energies or energy systems is called a spirit operator. This distinction is very general, and it should be noted that a spirit operator can, and often does, communicate.

Thus, mediumship can be distinguished as two basic types:

Mental Mediumship
Physical Mediumship

Mental mediumship involves the relating of information, through communication, via the varied aspects of thought transference, or mental telepathy. Mental telepathy is the relaying of information via thought, without using any of the five physical senses. Mental mediumship takes place within the consciousness of the medium. The results are expressed verbally and must pass through the medium's mouth. Because of its telepathic nature, mental mediumship is sometimes referred to as telepathic mediumship.

In a demonstration of mental mediumship, it is the medium who hears, sees, and feels what the spirit communicators are relating. Furthermore, it is the medium's function to relate the information, with minimum personal influence and prejudice, to the recipient of the message, also known as the sitter. The medium receives this information under various states of control.

Physical mediumship involves the manipulation and transformation of physical systems and energies. The spirit operators, in this case, are causing something to happen upon the Earth plane. What it is that actually happens varies with the style of mediumship involved, but the results can be seen and heard by others.

Unconscious Channeling

The actual mechanics inherent during unconscious Channeling is that the soul or spirit of the channel guide acts as the 'vehicle' ... either pushed aside or leaves the body. This makes room for the other energy to enter and use the body for a specific period of time.
This shift of energy can take seconds or minutes, and for those capable of seeing auras, the shift can actually be seen.

Often as the shift begins, the body may shake or quiver. This is particularly true when one first begins to channel. It can take weeks, months or years for the new energy to blend well and easily with the vehicle's energy.

The physical body, like a car, is a vehicle run by energy, similar to the spark plug and battery. The car does not care whether the spark plugs or battery are Goodyear or Sears. It will work if the energy is igniting the correct voltage and continually flows.

The human body will also operate with either the medium's energy or the energy of the channeled beings. As long as the energy is sustained and compatible, the body can be driven. It is learning to adjust how much energy the body uses that takes time and can cause the body to spasm.

If you are a channel or medium, except for the shaking of your body, you may experience nothing except the desire to stare and then the reality that you have awakened. Time has elapsed, but you will have no understanding of what occurred during that time.
This process is known as 'unconscious Channeling'.
