You have every right to get another opinion - let your physician know you are not comfortable with his answer and you would like to get a second opinion. It is something you are entitled to. If he will not refer you to a specialist or another GP then contact your insurance carrier and explain the situation. Also, if your doctor had tests done such as blood test, x rays or MRI then the results should be made available to you so you can share them with another physician...a lump on your stomach doesnt sound right - could be nothing but I understand it would be worrisome...good luck.

Could be a couple of things and not worth taking a chance on a miss diagnoses..
