Now you know what guys go though since they are always expected to make the first move. It is tough. You just have to get back on the "horse" when you are thrown off.

You should forget about the guy. If it was a bust then it is souldn't be worth pursuing the guy anymore. I had a couple of situations where I liked a girl, went out with her and she turned out to be really dull and we had nothing in common.
It's not dumb to make the first move, at least you know now that the person is not the one for you. You should not be so hard on yourself because there are other guys out there and I'm sure you will find the one for you. Everything is about trial and error!

No worries: One must kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince. I applaud your self esteem and confidence in asking a dude out. Maybe he is some sort of jerk or just didnt dig you. As one of the responders said, Keep Trying. One other thing, do not act upset at the dude, maybe he was just nervous about going out with you. Get a friend to find out what the H*** is up with him and then if it is something you did that was inappropriate, correct it. Otherwise, look on this as a learning experience and go after another. After all there are a lot of guys out there that would love to date you.

Don't beat yourself up over this Cat. You liked a guy you gave it a try it didn't work. Guys go through this all the time since they are traditionally the ones who ask girls out. If you are going to play things that way you have to go through what guys go through. I prefer doing things the old fashioned way myself. But there was nothing wrong with what you did and you have this whole year ahead of you. Look forward to wonderful things happening.

Listen hun, its not always going to work out with every guy. maybe he just wasnt the right guy for you. I dont think you were dumb for asking him out first cuz if you liked him then thats just the obvious thing to do. You just need to meet new guys and try again. I hope it works out better for you next time!

You never know unless you try. Sometimes things don't work out. The times that we live in give we girls the option to ask a guy out. If it's meant to be, he'll get back with you another time. If it isn't, there's alot more out there. Good luck!!

Nah. Its better than walking around thinking if you should ask him or not and obsessing over it. Now you can just take a deep breath and move on to the next guy.

no not really..
its nothing wrong in making a move if u really love a person.
Think he is not lucky enough to have you and move on in life! :)
Next time dont ask a guy out directly instead give him hints and see his reactions and act accordingly
all da best and a happy new year!!

it was dumb...really if you want to ask a guy out you would't have a problem doing, practice in the mirror or shower. think of what to say if he turnes you down

You learn from experience. Now that you learned a little more you can take your lessons with you into the next attempt.
