I rather like the Catholics. They have a sense of style and ritual unmatched by any.

I generally only protest unjust wars and human rights violations.

We should be grateful to God for keeping His Word. He kept it safe through the Catholics. However, we should love everyone, so I don't really see the point of the question. Who cares what denomination or branch you are. If you study the Bible and do what it says, you are a child of God. Your questions are pointless, and seem to be founded from either a bias, hate, or you just like arguments. If a kingdom fights with each other, then it is divided. Why fight among any fellow brethren of God? John- Yes, many protestants are insulting to the Catholic church, which is the wrong thing to do for sure. Does the Catholic church want to be thanked? I would find that slightly arrogant. The Catholic church did its duty to God by protecting the Bible. So all thanks goes to God for appointing His servant, the Catholic church, to protect the Bible. Do you expect a cop to thank you for stopping at a red light? No, it is your duty. As for the removed books, would you say that the Catholic church is wrong for adding books to the original cannon of the Jews? Of course not. It then becomes a belief in which books are not inspired. Protestants are free to read the other books and decide for themselves. If they aren't inspired, then the protestants will come to the decision themselves with study and prayer. I could turn the question on you to ask how you know they are inspired. As for the Baptists not living like Christians, who cares. Worry about your belief and try to show the people that don't believe the same way, the right way to believe. I can say the same exact thing about many Catholics I know. However, wide is the path that leads to destruction, narrow is the path that leads to life. What is wrong with preachy? You use it like it is a bad word. I am not sure what you mean behind it.

No. Protestantism as a religion came about as a direct result of the protests of Martin Luther against the abuses of the Church of Rome, or the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church isn't perfect---mainly because it's members are men and women and unfortunately men and women aren't perfect yet. Not perfect--just forgiven.

As I understand Atheism, they don't believe in the existence of God at all. I don't think that has anything to do with protesting against the Catholic Church.

No. A Protestant believes in God an atheist does not. Why is anyone protesting against any church?
You can go to any church you want so what is there to protest against.
Just go to the church you desire & leave everyone else alone. Who are you or anyone else to say that a church other than the one you belong to is wrong. Just tend to your own spiritual needs & leave others alone.

No, they have no religion at all. Protestants do not spend their worship time protesting against the Catholic Church. Most of us recognize Catholics as brothers and sisters in Christ.

No. Protestants may not be in sych with the Catholic Church but they still believe in God and Christian ideals.

An atheist swears against belief in God altogether. It would be disingenuous to Protestants to lump antheists in with them.

No. Only churches which originated during the Protestant Reformation are technically Protestant.

However, both atheists and Protestants would have been considered heretics during that time period.
