It sound pretty gross.

I have had vegtables dipped in pancake batter and fried but I'll pass on the meat. I think by the time the meat is cooked the outside will be burnt.

Shouldn't be bad... I would spice up the ground turkey some - choose spices that will go with the batter and sweet/sour sauce.

if you are going to do that, make sure you flour the meatballs first so the batter has something to stick to. Otherwise your meatballs are going to fry separately from the batter and you'll end up with a mess in the oil. Good luck with that one
