I am wondering what she will examine and how. Will I have to completely disrobe for her??? I am 44 yrs old

I have a women doctor for my exams and she is wonderful.
All my others exams hurt like heck but when I went to her.
She said she was finished before I knew she was started.
just relax.
I think you will like female better than male.
I have to fully undress but don't you have to with the male Dr too.
So don't worry. It will be okay.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

You didn't say if you are male or female but no matter what you should never have to disrobe in the presence of the doc or nurse. Normally the nurse checks your blood pressure and pulse etc and takes some history from you then she will get you out a gown and tell you what all you need to take off and how to put the gown on. She will then leave the room so you can disrobe and then the doctor will knock when she is ready to come in and if you are not ready yet just say so. If you are ready then say come in. Once the doc comes in your physical will consist of checking your heart and lungs. Checking your abdomen, eyes, ears, nose and throat. If you are a female you will have a breast exam and pap/pelvic exam if you asked for one and if you are a male they may check your prostate. The doc will then ask you about any problems or family diseases or concerns you have and order any labs or medications as needed. The doc will then leave so that you can get dressed and you should be done.

Just as with any medical test or procedure, you will wear a medical robe during your physical, and no clothing should be worn under this robe. The female Doctor will examine you the same way the male Doctor did. There is no difference in having a female or male dr. except in our own minds. There is no reason to feel uncomfortable.

You're 44 and never been to a doctor? You should expect the same thing that any other doctor would do...examine you.

i am assuming your a man?! yes usually you will need to disrobe down to you undergarments they should provide a gown, the rest is a standard exam she will more then likely grab em you cough and yup, more then likely have to have the rectal exam too but remember you are not her first patient i promise you that! she will be very professional:)

it is not strange all of my woman docs continually do this to me. and then we get it on interior the examination room with the nurses turning out to be a member of in. I do merely no longer see why some human beings are scared to bypass to the well being care expert!

YOU WILL HAVE TO DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO FOR ANY OTHER DOCTOR - IF THIS IS A YEARLY CHECKUP I WOULD GUESS YOU'D HAVE TO DISROBE AND PUT ON A PAPER THINGY. HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK

Have you seen those pornos where the hot nurse walks in the room sporting major cleavage and the patient drops his pants and you notice he doesn't have a single hair on his body and you wonder will this ever happen to me... Well, that's one scenario you shouldn't keep your hopes up for.
